Networking
Because of my time on the course, I have managed to gain almost two years worth of networking experience. From university trips, going to talks and even just volunteering to help film events, here is every document made discussing each trip:
1. Leo Pearlman talk
My first networking experience since joining this course, the Fulwell 73 talk with Leo Pearlman.
2. Halloween events
Volunteering to help film two Halloween events during the October half term, the first event was a purge inspired flash mob that was needed to be turned into a music video.
With the video being edited now, here is the product:
Resulting not the best, the quality is better on the original export. But for some reason when uploading a copy onto YouTube the quality downgrades.

Done with that now, there was a second event I was willing to help out with, the filming of a Halloween Parade.
3. Future Journalism Stars competition
After participating in a competition, I was chosen as the runner-up winner and had been invited to the University of Sunderland getting the opportunity to learn more about the subject area of Journalism.
4. University of Sunderland Workshops
Being introduced to two aspects of media, workshops were hosted at the university giving us college students a chance at trying out the production of podcasting and reality TV.
5. Barbering Competition
Another voluntary filming experience, heading over to Sunderland College, City Campus, a barbering competition was being held that I and one other had agreed to help out by filming the events.
6. Spring clean
Presenting a charitable act, a spring clean up was put together at the Sunderland Riverside where me and a few other students had volunteered to help film the event.

7. Washington Art Centre
Starting my work experience journey, a trip to the art centre was made where we got to explore the venue, meet who our potential mentors and learn what it was we would have to do if we were to go with them.
8. Sunderland Winter Gardens
Checking out a second option for placement, the Winter Gardens.
9. BBC Writers Webinar
Attending a BBC Webinar, from professionals tips and advice were given to us on joining the industry of writing for journalism, TV and Film.
10. Filmmakers Collective
Being apart of the Washington Art Centre for work experience, the opportunity of joining a filmmakers group was given to us. Documenting the sessions for the art centre, we also got to participate in producing a horror short film.
Only creating one short so far, here is the first of many I will be making with them:
11. DigiFin Workshop
Meeting a man who runs an advertising company completely alone, advice was given to us based on Lee Axon's experiences with a brief being set keeping us all involved.
