B1: Progression

Using the website, 'Create Britain', an online portfolio has been created allowing me to showcase the projects I have worked on so far alongside the skills I have gained. Not having many so far, at least with the website I am able to keep coming back to update it as I progress through the industry.  As a method to showcase my previous projects, a showreel is in the making. But before I can even make a start, I must research into the product and find what will draw the attention of potential customers and employers, and what to steer away from doing. With plenty to patch up, for the next draft I will be working on adjusting the clips, extending them and even adding a few more bits of footage. Transitions will also be a focus as well as the title cards. Ignoring the title cards for now, with this draft I ended up focusing more on the clips themselves. With finding more footage to include other shots had been adjusted to the music, extended and removed leaving me with what I have now. Not done yet, a third draft is needed. Basing off of the logo product, a business card is now in the works for 'Kilbride Productions'.  Not knowing so much about business cards, before making a start on my own I had decided to do some research. Looking into the history of the item and finding rules to having and presenting a business card, tips were also found giving ideas as to how the card can be laid out with the requirements as to what should be on the business card. All of this I can now interpretate onto my design, and better it with the knowledge encountered.  Starting a new project, to make a start I have had to begin by looking into existing logos to gather inspiration for when it comes to making my own which will then lead onto creating my own brand with that logo.  Choosing four to cover, plenty of discovery had been made going into the use of symbolic codes, colour schemes, fonts, meanings and reasoning's, etc. Everything to do with that will be found embed below.
